Artist's Comments
Earlier this month I went to go see the musical "Wicked," and it was one of the coolest things I've seen in awhile.
To those who don't know, the play (as well as the darker more adult novel it's based off of) tells the story of the Wicked Witch of the West though a different perspective. The play itself was great, with some fantastic songs (the cast was super good)... but what really made the whole thing unique was the atmosphere. I've never been to a play before, and the audience was bursting with energy. I almost went deaf a couple times form the applause and screaming.
